Hi, my name is Lex! I am the owner and baker of Bright Eyed Bakery. I am a Columbia, SC native, a proud mother and stay-at-home wife. I grew up watching my Nana make southern classics that till this day influences my baking style. When I first started, the only goal I had in mind was to cure my sweet tooth. I soon learned that it was much deeper for me. Sharing my creations with others led to starting Bright Eyed Bakery in 2022.
I have over a decade of experience in mastering baking techniques and cake decorating. I saw my creative skills blossom into a new art form. This journey has led me to adding my own modern flare to southern classics. That's what makes Bright Eyed Bakery unique. With a positive mindset and innovation in mind, I am able to create custom cakes that exceed your vision.
